Future Navy Pier in Chicago

A new Navy Pier is going to be built in Chicago. It will be Chicago’s landmark Navy Pier.

Navy Pier is lacted along Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes. It is the largest aim in Illinois and the world’s longest pier. This has been a much-loved piece of Chicago history.

The ambition is to create a new reality at Navy Pier which lives up to its beautiful lakefront setting by giving a world-class place back to Chicago.

The main aspects of the design include Gateway Park, Crystal Garden, Skyline Gardens, Pier Park, East End Park, South Dock and East End Park.

It is a nice project. The 3d renderings or architectural visualization and 3d walkthrough can be seen at

Suzhou is China's key scenic tourist city, one of the four China’s key environmental protection cities and also one of the central cities of the Yangtze River delta. Suzhou abounds in pretty girls.
With the development of Suzhou economic development, the city "height" is refreshed again and again. Half of 35 skyscrapers have been started to build.

WTO Architecture

Today I read a news about world trade center again. The WTO architectural renderings came to my mind again. The 3d architectural visualizations are impressive.
The news said that the No. 1 building of New York's world trade center cost $3.8 billion. It becomes the world most expensive office now. It is still under construction. Some people said the number is much higher about 700 million than the latest public forecast. The No. 1 building are being built at “9.11” WTO site. The construction fee is more expensive than traditional office building. It is largely attributed to the security costs.

Odd Architecture in the World

What's the oddest architecture in the world you've ever seen? Strange architecture brings different feeling to a city. Because they are unique and quite different from other uniform architecture, such as tree-shaped hotel, drunk house, upside down house, etc. Architects' imagination is extremely powerful and infinite. Let's see the following architecture.

Chinese character "八" (English is eight) shaped building-Wilson building. It is located in Chicago suburb.

Cracking to two parts museum. At the first glance, you must think it suffered an earthquake. Actually, it isn't a dangerous building, but a museum in Orlando.

This house doesn't have an official name. The wall and ground have a 135 degree angle. One wall connects with the ground. On the roof, a small flavescent chimney looks lovely. Absolutely visual effect.

Chech architecture-dancing building.

Poland architecture-drunk building. It's an accessory building of a thriving shopping center.

Imposing Earth House

I came across Peter Vetsch's design-earth house. It's an amazing design and distinctive concept. It makes full use of natural environment and leaves less carbon footprint. A man named BRIAN said like this (not original remarks), when man first walked the earth, they lived in cave and underground houses which provided safety. It seems that we have come full circle with the implementation of earth homes in today’s society. The ecological benefits are simply undeniable! Absolutely right!
I think architecture which has close realationship with environment can get more and more attention.
Our company has created many architectural renderings or architectural visualization and 3d walkthrough for modern architecture which are also very nice, but less imposing compared with earth house.
