On Architectural Visualization

With the development of technology, architectural visualization has been developing well gradually. In 1999, experts who participated in the competitive bidding of China national grand theatre design scheme experienced an interesting thing-Designer part didn't demonstrate the scheme with usual thick design drawings and data file, but broadcasted about 5 minutes' architectural animation or architectural walkthrough. In the walkthrough, the outline of the architecture planning and the future scene were presented vividly and visually. At that time, the words "architectural animation" seem very strange to us. The 5 minutes' promotion film is also the same strange as the field. Several yeas later, with the rapid development of domestic architecture and real estate, architectural visualizations are developing consequently.

With the continuous development of media technology, "architectural visualization" products including architectural animation and architectural rendering can be created according to clients' requirement in architectural design and urban planning field, and has been widely applied. It has become an indispensable communication tool, display window and marketing tool.

Nowadays, visualization is around everywhere. From television and its popularity to computer and its popularity, people can show kinds of things with screenage, including architecture. Architectural animation is the best presentation of architectural visualization. The initial definition of architectural animations is like this-It is a kind of animation film to show architecture and architecture related activities, and it's developed from architectural roam. It usually presents designers' intention by computer software. Viewers can feel the space of the architecture through architectural visualizations. In the early stage, due to the limitation of the architectural walkthrough technology, we can only simply move cameras. About Villa

Up to now, the most expensive villa in mainland China is Shanghai Tangong. It's designed by JohnF.Cropper. He thinks that as a villa, first, the space is big enough; second, it is build with best materials and decorated with best products. Every rich people has different background. So they have different requirement on the space. For example, they don't have time, so some facilities like home theatre, indoor swimming pool, etc. are necessary. Next, it has high quality both interior and exterior, such as the perfect combination between villa and surrounding environment. Furthermore, maintenance is also very important. We should keep it nice all the year around.

As an architectural rendering and architectural animation company, we should not only pay much attention to CG industry, but also attach importance to architecture design.

Magic Paper House in America

It was reported that in order to test insulation of paper, engineer and inventor Ellis Stenman in Massachusetts began to build paper house with waste newspapers in 1922. Surprisingly, besides the wall is made of papers, the furniture inside the architecture is also made of papers. 88 years have past, the house is as solid as it was except some outermost wall papers peeling off. Now the magic paper house has become architecture wonder of advocating environmental protection of life concept and local landmark tourist attractions.
All the house walls are suppressed step by step with one paper and the other and reaches 1 inch (2.54 centimeters) thick. In order to prevent water leakage, Stenman coated walls with a layer of light waterproof lacquer.

Paper House
Let's see the furniture inside the house. The table, chairs, lamp holder even a piano are all made of papers and sturdy & durable. How to do this? He made a kind of bond with flour, water, and apple peels and bond newspapers together. Magic! Now the house is taken care of by Stenman's niece, Edna Beaudoin.

Paper Furniture
At Stenman's time, there are not vogue words like "Low-carbon green" "recoverable garbage", etc., but Stenman has had environmental consciousness. He knew how to use recyclable material to build house.

I'm expecting to see the real and magic paper house. But I have no chance now. If possible, somebody draws architectural renderings and makes architectural animation for it, we can see more realistically. Architectural visualization can reach the realistic effect.
