Kaiping Diaolou-China ancient architecture

This weekends our company organized to Kaiping which is called  "hometown for overseas Chinese". It is famous for imposing Diaolou (I don't konw how to tranlate Diaolou into English exactly, maybe watchtower or sth else. The following picture is for your reference.) Diaolou can be dated back to late of Ming Dynasty. It was in great prosperity with the development of overseas Chinese. Diaolou was constructed combined with Chinese and western art. Now there are 1833 Diaolou left.

Kaiping Diaolou is used for bandit defense, anti-flood and bullet. So its wall is very far more thicker than modern architecture. The architecture style is various, like Greek style, Roman style, Byzantine style. In June, 2001, the state council announce Diaolou as national important protective relic. In June, 2007, Kaiping Diaolou is listed to world cultural relic by UNESCO. I, as well as my Frontop collegues, was shocked by the Diaolou. Hope that they can be saved forever. If possible, I hope our designers can draw Diaolou 3d rendering.
